The Villa Balcon del Mar at Competa Holidays

The Villa Balcon del Mar is set in a stunning position above the whitewashed village of Competa, with spectacular views over the village, the mountains, and the coast from Malaga Bay in the west to Nerja in the east. As the sun begins to set, you feel that you could almost touch the peaks of Africa's` Riff Mountains to the south. A truly magical view.

The villa is situated on the hillside at the start of the National Park, with the Sierra Almijara behind, and is less than a mile from the village. An ideal base from which to explore the area, walk in the hills, or just relax by the pool.

The Villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( 1 ensuite), lounge with log burner for winter evenings, fully fitted kitchen, conservatory and dining room, and is fully air conditioned.

Outside there are a number of terraces, BBQ, and swimming pool . Private parking and enclosed gardens.

The villa is let on a self-catering basis, and, unlike the other villas, a car is not entirely necessary. It is a gentle walk of approx 1 mile into the village, where you will find taxis that will bring you home if you don't fancy the climb back up. However, there are so many interesting places to visit, you may feel that a hire car is worthwhile.
